Tour Destinations
From time to time, Vintage Vino may substitute any listed tour destination for another for various reasons including but not limited to: hours of operation, closures for special events, business levels (ie. venue is all booked up), etc. We will aim to keep you advised of any changes to your tour itinerary in advance of your tour. Our goal is to provide the best experience possible and that may require us to be flexible in terms of our visited locations from time to time.
Payment Methods
Payment is accepted through our Payment Partner, Stipe. We accept most major credit cards.
Alternatively, we are happy to accept payment in the form of e-transfers. Contact us via phone at 902-306-3490 or email (hello@vintagevino.ca) to book your tour and arrange for e-transfer payment.
Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
Full Refund: Guests who cancel at least 3 weeks prior to their scheduled tour will receive a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee.
Partial Refund (50%): Cancellations made less than 3 weeks but more than 1 week before the scheduled tour date are eligible for a 50% refund.
Partial Refund (30%): Cancellations made less than 1 week before the scheduled tour are eligible for a 30% refund.
Rescheduling:
Guests may reschedule their tour for another available date if they request to do so at least 1 week prior to the original tour date. A rescheduling fee of $25 per guest will apply.
No Rescheduling Less Than 1 Week: Rescheduling requests made less than 1 week before the tour date cannot be accommodated, and the booking will be subject to the cancellation terms outlined above.
Weather Cancellations and Refunds
Severe Weather Statements
Vintage Vino reserves the right to cancel tours due to severe weather statements issued by Environment Canada. Sometimes we get real whoppers of storms. Hurricanes can and do occur from time to time. In the event of a severe weather statement, we reserve the right to cancel a tour for the safety of you and ourselves. Tours cancelled by Vintage Vino due to weather are eligible for full-refunds, or guests may book a new tour date as availability allows.
Rain/Drizzle
We understand that nothing beats a beautiful sunny day, and a wine tour is a delight in the sunshine. However, this being the Maritimes we’re bound to get some rainy, foggy, or drizzly days. Barring a torrential downpour that would pose a risk to operations, we operate in the rain and bookings are not eligible to be canceled or refunded under these circumstances. Thankfully, the Annapolis Valley is known to receive less days of precipitation than other parts of Nova Scotia. Chances are good we’ll be enjoying a lovely day.
Other Cancellation and Refunds
Motor Vehicle Issues
Vintage Vino has a fleet of three beautiful vintage cars to tour you across the Annapolis Valley. We perform regular maintenance on our vehicles to ensure smooth operation during our tours. In the event of a mechanical issue with any of our vehicles while on tour, a replacement car (vintage or otherwise) will be made available to us to continue our tour. Should we be required to cancel a tour due to a mechanical issue and lack of availability, a full refund will be provided and appropriate transportation arrangements will be made to return you to your drop off location.
